Kayley has garnered attention and acclaim, being referred to as the 'Indigenous Adele' by the Ottawa Citizen, highlighting her unique vocal talent and cultural background.

The release is under New Sun Music, a record label founded by fellow artist Crystal Shawanda, which aims to promote Indigenous music and artists.
